Thank you Barbie for stopping by and commenting! :)

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one feeling this way.

I believe that is a sign of true growth when you don't HAVE to follow someone just because of the "status".

Keep up the great work Barbie!

Hmmm This is a real interesting post, considering I've also had the same thoughts as you.

I personally was the type of person who was in love with the idea that if someone made "millions" then I had to follow them, and they must be a great leader.

Boy did I find out the hard way, that that is just not true. Don't let the Money fool you. Because of that experience I have made it a point to focus on aspiring to BE like the leader IS as opposed to HAVING what he has.

As far as cursing, lol..I must admit, I have a bit of a construction mouth, and I don't know that that qualifies a person not to be a good leader...I think that is a matter of personality and whether you feel that's wrong or whatever, doesn't bother me..

But I agree in that..it's more about WHO they ARE...rather than how much the Say they Make that's important...

Thanks For Twittering about it!

Hey Paul,

This is very insightful, and I agree with you 100%.

I think one of the things that make great leaders is that great leaders don't have ego problems.

Great leaders also do not operate from a place of lack, rather they know there is more than enough for everyone. They see "competition" as potential "collaborators"..which brings me to a third characteristic...

A great leader is an excellent collaborator.

Leaders also know that there are times when they FOLLOW as well.

Love this post!

I appreciate you, Paul.
