It was said a few months ago by Nichology’s Paul Evans, something to the extent of “The average Internet Marketer can be an Offline Business Guru.” (not exact words)
Lately I have been going over my business model and making changes here and there. Because I believe our business models can become too complicated and time consuming. My life has been extremely busy and gearing up for a new baby, so a simple and effective business model sounds great!
As I was going over my current business model, I realized I was missing out on a big niche that I was in contact with all the time. Because I currently own a coffee shop, I am always talking with local business owners and there is something they all have in common…
They are stressed! Because my wife and I are thinking about selling and moving, I really hadn’t put much thought into doing anything in my town. But I thought, what a great opportunity to help fellow business owners and make money at the same time! So I have launched SureFire Business Strategies, helping Offline Businesses Using Online Strategies.
I bring this up to give you the same idea… Are you using your Internet Marketing “know-how” to help local businesses in your town? This could be a great way to be viewed as an expert and make some extra cash!
You don’t even have to take it that far. If you know a lot about Wordpress blogs, you could make up a package deal for storefront owners explaining how important it is to have a web presence and how you can not only design them a cool converting site, but also get it found in the search engines. There truly is many different things you can do to add value to your local businesses and make an extra stream or two of income for you.
Something to think about!
Keep up the great work!
