Hitting Home With Your Audience

by Paul Cooley on March 16, 2009

I wanted to post these videos because I thought Target has done a great job striking to the heart of their target audience. They realize that many people are on a tight budget, so they have done a great job making their audience feel like everything is okay and that if you buy from Target you can still have a good life with not spending much money. Check them out and let me know what you think. :)

Spot on! IMHO (or should I say right on “target”? ;-) ) Makes “new ways to save” creative and classy!

I agree with you 100%. Target has been doing a great job with putting out there how you can enjoy nice things without spending a small fortune. And it must be working, because when I went there last night to get a green shirt for my son there seemed to be quite a lot of people shopping ;)

Hi Janis and Loretta! Thanks for stopping by! I figure if we can use these techniques with our marketing, we will be doing well. :)

Very true Paul.
It’s about offering value.
Helping the customer feel that they got more than they paid for is always good ;-)
All the best,
Eren

These videos are a perfect example as to why Target is not losing in this economy. They are making being cost concious as being incredibly cool. And how ’bout that doggie grooming idea – who’dve thunk that? Not me for sure!

Paul Cooley March 25, 2009 at 10:36 pm

That’s for sure Eren and Jill! I think it’s a great idea to examine ourselves and see if we are doing that with our customers. :)
